Lanett reports
LANETT — Nine people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Depaertment reports, the following people have been charged:
Shawhitney Johnson, 24, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court (FTA) to answer traffic-related charges.
Shaquan Rudd, 24, of Lanett has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.
Marcus Story, 46, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping.
Cassie Burgoyne, 28, of Lanett has been charged with harassment.
Randy Flowers, 23, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
Key Pruitt, 29, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.
Michael Mitchell, 36, of Alexander City, Ala. has been charged with loitering, possession of burglary tools,possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garon Marshall, 28, odf Jackson’s Gap, Ala. has been charged with loitering and possession of burglary tools.
In incidents reported over the weekend, Lanett police officers are investigating reports of harassment and criminal mischief taking place on the 4500 block of 32nd Street SW; domestic violence, third, on the 800 block of South 15th Street; domestic violence, third, on the 100 block of North Gilmer Avenue and theft of property, fourth, on the 1100 block of East 3rd Avenue.
Sheriff reports
LaFAYETTE — The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports six arrests having taken place over the weekend. According to reports, the following persons have been charged:
Manuel Lynch, 25, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – possession of marijuana, second degree.
Jonah Fetner, 46, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – driving while suspended.
Nicklaus Byram, 32, of Valley, failure to pay (FTP) for possession ofdrug paraphernalia.
Mychaela Jackson, 23, of Pike Road, Ala. FTA – speeding in excess of 70 miles per hour.
Key Pruitt, 29, of Lanett, arrested i=on three counts of FTP – chikd support and one county FTA – promoting prison contraband.
Marcus Story, 46, of Lanett FTP – child support.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — Delreco Montae Murphy of West Point was arrested over the weekend on an FTA warrant from Harris County.
In incidents reported over the weekend, West Point police officers are investigating reports of aggravated assault having taken place on Pine Street, simple assault on Avenue M and simple assault on Easr 12th Street.
