Mrs. Edith Ophelia Johnson, 93, of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday March 8, 2020, at the LaFayette Nursing Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Chambers County, March 30, 1926, to the late Henry Wilson Vickers and the late Annie Pearl Knight Vickers, she was a member of the Penton Church Of God and was a lifetime employee of Lanier/West Point Pepperell textile mill in Lanett, Alabama.
She was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Graveside services will be held Saturday March 14, 2020 at 12:30PM at the LaFayette
City Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service.
She is survived by her son Bobby (Evelyn) Johnson of LaFayette; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Robert W. (Ebo) Jonson, Son Allen Dale Johnson, Granddaughter Rhonda Lee Johnson, and a Sister Mary Zelna Nix.
