Mrs. Christeen Haynes, age 91, of Valley passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at her residence. She was born on July 4, 1928, in Five Points, Alabama to the late Bruner and Irene Earl.

Haynes, is survived by her husband of 69 years, Aron Haynes; daughters, Regina Rutledge and Susan (Tracy) Newman; grandchildren, Ashley White, Chesley Rutledge, Jr., Lacy Newman, and Tracy Newman, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jayden Rutledge, Addi Rutledge, Taylor White, Ashlyn Rutledge, Luke White, and Olivia White.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Catherine Stephens, Laverne McCollough, and Annie Swann; brothers, Shaffer Earl, Frank Earl, Pate Earl, Clyde Earl, Bryant Earl, Bill Earl, and Leonard Earl.

Haynes was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Valley. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and loved her husband dearly.

Due to coronavirus gathering restrictions, services will be private.
