Chambers County up to five confirmed COVID-19 cases

Chambers County has five positive COVID-19 cases, according to the latest numbers released by the Alabama Department of Public Health on Tuesday evening.
Chambers began the day with two confirmed cases, but three additional cases were confirmed by ADPH on Tuesday. No additional information was known about the cases.
The state of Alabama as a whole is up to 242 total cases.
Troup County, Georgia jumped to 17 total COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, according to District 4 Public Health, which oversees 12 counties, including Troup. That was up from four at the beginning of the day.
The state of Georgia had 1,097 cases, according to its 7 p.m. update on Tuesday night. However, the state numbers are behind, as that figure did not include all of the recent Troup County additions.
