As of a 6:00 p.m. update from ADPH, Chambers County has 15 positive cases of COVID-19. Alabama rises to 604 with 3 deaths.
In a separate release from EAMC, there have been 1,026 COVID-19 tests submitted with 693 of those being negative. There are still 267 tests that are pending results, the release states.
EAMC also made a plea to area churches to seek alternatives to gathering on Sundays to worship. “While many churches have moved to online services only – or canceled church services altogether in the interim – there are reports that some still met as recently as last Sunday.” the release said.
