Two LaFayette men charged with attempted murder after alleged assault on County Road 14

Two LaFayette men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder after an alleged assault on County Road 14 that occurred earlier this month.
According to a press release from the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, on April 18 at approximately 7 p.m., deputies responded to County Road 14 in response to an assault.
On arrival, deputies located a 38-year-old man who had been injured during the assault. He was transported to the hospital for his injuries and was later released.
On Tuesday, 32-year-old Cortney L. Moss of and 25-year-old Regginal Tucker of LaFayette were arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Sheriff Sid Lockhart said he wanted to thank the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Roanoke Police Department for their assistance with the case.
