On Thursday morning, the Troup County Sheriff’s office and Lanett Police Department apprehended Gregory Michael Stringfellow, at BB&T Bank off Highway 29.

According to Troup County Public Information Officer Stewart Smith, Stringfellow was heading southbound on I-85 in an olive green SUV and was pulled over for failure to maintain his lane.

During the stop, he sped away from the deputy and was pursued until exiting on Exit 79.

Stringfellow, 27 from Pine Mountain, Georgia, was charged with numerous traffic charges.
