A single-vehicle crash at 6:25 a.m. on Sunday claimed the life of a Roanoke man.
Timothy Andrew Holliday, 37, was killed when the 2008 Nissan Altima he was driving went off the roadway and struck a tree. Holliday was not using a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 431 at the 175-mile marker, approximately eight miles south of Roanoke. Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
