LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Derrick Arvello Gibson, 44, of Lanett was charged with the distribution of a controlled substance;

Changhyun Lee, 35, of Enterprise, Ala., was charged with driving under the influence – alcohol;

Robert Lee Clay-Orr III, 27, of Hampton, Ga. was charged with DUI – alcohol;

Billy Tyrone Dunn, 28, of Lanett was charged with domestic violence, third degree , and interference with a domestic violence emergency call.

In incidents reported to the Lanett Police Department, domestic violence. third degree, was reported on the 1300 block of North 13th Avenue; the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of North 12th Avenue; the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1100 block of North 13th Street; criminal mischief, third degree, was reported in the 200 block of South 2nd Avenue, and an incident of duty upon striking an unattended vehicle was reported on the 3700 block of South Phillips Road.

VALLEY reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Joseph Anthony Roberts, 28, of Valley has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree;

Theresa Reese, 55, of Valley has been charged with obstructing government operations, and Jinming Kim, 34, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

Valley officers are investigating reports of burglary, third, and theft of property, second degree, on the 1700 block of 55th Street, and negotiating with a worthless instrument on the 3000 block of 20th Avenue.

WEST POINT reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating reports of aggravated assault on Cleveland Street and theft on Highway 18.

LANETT reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. According to CCSO reports,

Carol Ridgeway, 45, of Lanett has been charged by grand jury indictments of sexual abuse, first degree, and the sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age;

Dervoski Morgan, 27, of Lanett has been charged with robbery, and

Leshawn Brooks, 45, of Valley has been charged with grand jury indictments of obstruction of justice and violation of the Sexual Offender Registration Notification Act.
