At approximately 12:25 p.m. on Thursday, the Lanett Police Department responded to a call about a possible gunshot victim on 16th Ave. in Lanett.

The victim was transported to Lanett High School, where he was picked up and airlifted to Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, Georgia according to information discussed on the police scanner.
