MRS. LAVEITA GAIL GORE

LANETT — Mrs. LeVeita Gail Gore, 68, of Lanett, Ala., passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on September 5, 1949 at Langdale Memorial Hospital to the late Alton W. and Oleta B. Jordan.

Mrs. Gore is survived by her husband, Charles “Huey” Gore; her daughter, Reiko (Jerry) Daniel of the Lake Harding community; her sister, Uvonna (Leonard) Williamson of Lanett, Ala.; her two grandchildren, Jerrica and Joshua Daniel, both of Lake Harding; her niece, Nicole (Manual Pineda) Williamson of Phenix City, Ala.; her nephew, James (fiancée Kaylin) Williamson, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Gore was a graduate of Valley High School.  She was employed at Walmart for 10 years until her health declined.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed cooking, ceramics, serving of all types, listening to country music, watching birds and working in her garden.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at 1 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Mark McGee officiating.  A private family graveside service will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
