LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Frankie Banks, 36, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in drug court;

Jucurry Beard, 27, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – domestic violence, third degree;

Dimitri Henry, 26, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation;

Audrey Hogan, 28, of Sheffield, Ala. has been charged with identity theft, and

Laterrance James, 39, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana.

There were 154 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Brandy Diane Hill Spradlin, 27, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Anthony Clay Spradlin, 28, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Jucurry O’Neal Beard, 27, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – domestic violence, third degree;

Lamarius Marquette Avery, 34, of Valley has been charged with FTA — expired tag, FTA – driving with a revoked license, FTA – violation of the open container law, and

Christopher Benjamin Scott, 42, of Lanett has been charged with attempting to elude.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, reports were made Wednesday of duty upon striking an unoccupied vehicle on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue; domestic violence, third degree, on the 600 block of South 3rd Avenue; burglary, third degree, reported on the 3000 block of South Phillips Road, and theft of property, fourth degree, reported on the 1200 block of North 12th Avenue.

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Thomas Russell Sessions, 54, of Troy, Ala. has been charged with two counts of FTA – traffic;

Jonathan Clayton Mitchell, 52, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Lamarcus Avery, 33, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping,

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, harassing communications was reported on the 500 block of Highway 29; failure to pay for gasoline was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue; harassing communications was reported on the 1000 block of Monk Street; domestic violence, third degree – harassment was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 388 and recovered property reported on the 1700 block of 28th Street.

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Roderiqus Gates of LaGrange, Ga. was charged on Kia Parkway for driving with a suspended license.

In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, battery was reported on West 9th Street.
