Lanett reports
LANETT — Eight people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Shane “Bubba” Arrington, 40, of Lanett has been charged with cruelty to animals;
Stevie Elizabeth Brewer, 22, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance;
Hattie Camilla Broughton, 30, of LaFayette was charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Cassie Nicole Hollis, 32, of Valley was charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Travis Yamawns Little, 38, of Talbotton, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, first and second degree;
Jenny Lauren Spear, 36, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, first degree;
Nicklaus Tierik Staples, 19, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and attempting to elude a police officer, and
Alexander Thammavong, 31, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett police officers, duty to give information and render aid was reported in the 2000 block of 25th Street SW, on the 300 block of North 3rd Street and the 1800 block of South Broad Avenue; harassment and harassing communications was reported on the 1200 block of South 8th Avenue, the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue and the 1700 block of 21st Street SW; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 12th Street, the 3000 block of 48th Avenue SW, the 1100 block of South 2nd Avenue, the 400 block of North Lanier Avenue, the 100 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, the 1400 block of South 8th Court, the 4000 block of 23rd Court SW, the 100 block of South 3rd Avenue, the 200 block of South Gilmer Avenue and the 600 block of North 14th Court; possession of a forged instrument was reported on the 100 block of North Gilmer Avenue; identity theft was reported on the 400 block of North Lanier Avenue; theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1500 block of South 4th Avenue; the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 3400 block of 38th Avenue SW; criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 4000 block of 20th Avenue SW; theft of property, second degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported on the 1100 block of County Road 213; theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1900 block of Phillips Road; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 400 block of South 6th Avenue; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 400 block of South 6th Avenue; theft of property, third degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported on the 1000 block of South Gilmer Avenue; criminal trespassing, second degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 10th Street; criminal trespassing, third degree, and harassment was reported on the 1900 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway and breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2300 block of 26th Avenue SW.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports.
Torrien Shane Sanders, 25, of Lanett has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree;
Jenny L. Spear, 36, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Christina Lee Bishop, 30, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;
Jaelanya Tameshya Heard, 25, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Maurice Fears, 21, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude, and
Frederick Random, 20, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with attempting to elude.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 200 block of West Sears Street, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling was reported on the 3000 block of 30th Street.

LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to CCSO reports,
Marcella Avery, 59, of Camp Hill, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay on a charge of attempting to elude a law enforcement officer;
Diamond Rhodes, 23, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with FTP – failure to display insurance;
Jenny Chase, 36, of Smiths Station, Ala. has been charged with possession of a forged instrument, third degree;
Andrea Gamble, 27, of Lanett has been charged with FTP – speeding;
Eddie Mitchell, 36, of LaFayette has been charged with carrying a concealed pistol without a permit, and
Brandi Johnson, 31, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – drug court.
