Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports.

Eric Leon Winston, 41, has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 3400 block of 39th Avenue SW; theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 2000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, and harassment was reported on the 100 block of County Road 458.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Curry Whitlow, 40, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay child support.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — An incident of fraud having taken place on West 3rd Avenue was reported to the West Point Police Department on Wednesday.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Rebecca Higman, 48, of Dadeville, Ala. has been charged with criminal trespassing, second degree, and

Eric Leon Winston, 41, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 5900 block of 22nd Avenue, and domestic violence, second degree (criminal mischief) was reported on the 1200 block of County Road 271.
