LaFAYETTE — Mrs. Willie Mae Spence Eberhart, 86 of Athens, Ga. and formerly of LaFayette, Ala. passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 11 a.m. CDT at the Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette with the Rev. Cecelia Broome officiating.

Mrs. Eberhart is survived by her daughters: Tangye Ward, Jacquelyn (Roscoe) Wilson, and Donita Eberhart; one stepson, Don (Theodis) Lake; three grandchildren, Tanqon Clink, Dwain Clink II, and Kirsten Pierce; her husband, Deacon Donald Eberhart, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, and two special caretakers, Mrs. Pauline Hand and Mrs. Brenda Ballard.
