WHITE, Ga. — Rev. Rudolph “R.T.” Tidwell,  83, of White, Ga. and formerly of Valley, Ala. died Saturday, April 26, 2018.  Rev. Rudolph was born and raised in Gadsden, Ala. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean War and spent over 55 years in the ministry.  Rev. Tidwell was dedicated to the churches he served and yearned to spread the word of God.

Rev. Rudolph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Cook Tidwell; daughter Pamela Ann Ruiz (Vince), sons David Rudolph Tidwell (Anne) and Lance Eddie Tidwell (Alexandra), 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolphus “Doc” and Della Tidwell.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, 3:15 p.m. EDT at the Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Ala.
