LANETT — Mr. David Michael (Hank) Tooker, Sr., 79, of Lanett, Ala. died Monday May 7, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Tooker was born in Ohio on December 15, 1938 to the late Clay G. Tooker and the late Jessie Rittenhouse Tooker. He was a retired truck driver for Encatt at Auburn University. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran and a member and deacon of the Milltown Baptist Church in Milltown, Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Tooker of Lanett; six children: David Michael (Danielle) Tooker, Jr., Kim (Kevin) Baldwin, Terri Tooker Smith, Timmy (Ellie) Tooker, Danny (Ashley) Tooker, Clay (Holly) Tooker, a sister, Roseann Allison; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Friday May 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. CDT at the Milltown Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Hammett officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. CDT, prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to jeffjonesfuneralhome.com.
