LaFayette City Clerk Louis Davidson confirmed to VTN the city’s water is expected to be back operational Friday.

“I am grateful to be able to announce that the City of LaFayette has restored water services to its citizens,” Davidson said.

Davidson also said the boil water advisory remains in effect.

According to Davidson, the city was able to apply a temporary fix to get the water supply operational.
