Nix holds House of Representatives District 69 position

TROUP — Republican Randy Nix has won the race for the Georgia House of Representatives District 69 seat.
The race came to a close Tuesday, with Nix running unopposed for the seat.
He will now run unopposed in the general election.
Nix brought in more than 5,100 votes from the district, which includes Troup, Heard and Carroll County. Nix received more than 1,120 votes from Troup County alone in the race.
Nix is the incumbent for the seat and a member of several committees, including: Appropriations, Economic Development and Tourism, Education, Judiciary, Legislative and Congressional, Natural Resources and Environment, Reappointment, Secretary of Banks and Banking and Chairman of Ethics.
