AUBURN, Ala. — Mrs. Dorothy Pitts Hardnett, 63, of Auburn, Ala. passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 1  p.m. CST at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Ala. with the Rev. Justin M. Freeman, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hardnett is survived by her children: Dexter Pitts of Montgomery Ala., Saprina Whitlow of Birmingham, Ala., Cheryl (Tracy) Kyles of Opelika, Ala., and Cedric (Idah) Pitts of Duluth, Ga., a sister, Annie Ruth Norris of Camp Hill, Ala., two brothers, James Frank Norris and Charles (Jackie) Norris, both of Camp Hill, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
