VALLEY — James R. “Mr. Jim” Presher, 71, of Valley, Ala, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Jim will be greatly missed by his wife, Carol; his dog, Tou; and his many friends and family at Roper Heights Baptist Church, Faith Evangelistic Church, and Timeless Antiques.

Mr. Jim was born on February 27, 1947 in Barton, N.Y.  He was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church. Along with his wife Carol, Mr. Jim was the owner/operator of Timeless Antiques in Valley.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. EDT at the Roper Heights Baptist Church in West Point, Ga. with the Rev. Eddie Striblin officiating.  From 10 a.m. till the service hour, an informal fellowship will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr. Jim’s memory to the Roper Heights Baptist Church, PO Box 533, West Point, GA 31833.
