The Valley girls struggled to find momentum on Saturday as the Lady Rams fell to Troup County 61-47.

Then, refusing to be outdone, Sheniyah Philpot connected on a halfcourt buzzer-beater that gave Troup an eight-point lead at the end of the first half.
Philpot and Gilbert did more than just hit shots for the Tigers, they were a dynamic duo on both sides of the court. Philpot led Troup with 22 points. Gilbert followed Philpot with 17 points.
Kayden Dooley was the leader for Valley on Saturday. Dooley finished the game with 25 points, 14 of her points came from the charity stripe. Aniyah Robinson followed Dooley with 10 points.
