Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Bridgett Rush, 24, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

Christian Strickland, 18, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer;

Richard Robertson, 43, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and

Jacquelyn Robertson, 40, of West Point has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 300 block of Pond Street, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 4000 block of 23rd Avenue, criminal littering was reported on the 4100 block of 20th Avenue and property damage was reported on the  3500 block of 20th Avenue.

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Andrew Keith Smith, 34, of West Point has been charged with theft of property, first degree, reckless endangerment, attempting to elude a police officer and bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 1000 block of South 1st Avenue, and burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 5400 block of 33rd Street SW.

west point reports

WEST POINT — Officers from the West Point Police Department are investigating an incident of criminal trespassing on Forest Mill Lane and theft by shoplifting on East 10th Street. Both incidents took place on Wednesday.

LaFAYETTE — A total of 161 inmates were being housed in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.
