Sharon Weldon had a resounding victory in Tuesday night’s Republican primary for superintendent of Chambers County School District, winning all 13 precincts that have come in so far over incumbent Casey Chambley.

Weldon will move on to face Democratic challenger Winford Ashmore in the general election in November. Ashmore had no competition in Tuesday night’s primary.
