Beulah softball started off hot and held on for a 10-6 win on Tuesday as the Lady Bobcats hosted Randolph County. 

Claire Dubose got the scoring started early for Beulah as she drove in a run with a single in the bottom of the first inning. Kyleigh Morgan then helped the Lady Bobcats take complete control as she hit a two-run home run over the left field fence. The Lady Bobcats scored their last run of the inning on a squeeze attempt as Presley Duck drove Abriana Green in on a sacrifice bunt. 

The Tigers were able to fight back in the top of the third inning as a two-out single drove in a run. Beulah snuffed the rally out quick though as Duck added an insurance run with a RBI single in the bottom of the third inning. 

Randolph County continued to rally as the Lady Tigers added two runs in the top of the fourth inning to cut Beulah’s lead to three. The Tigers then added one more run in the top of the sixth inning to cut Beulah’s lead to 6-4. 

The Lady Bobcats came alive at the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning as Libby Buchanan scored a run with a bunt to make it 7-4. Dubose added another RBI to her tally as she hit a line drive to drive Buchanan. 

Beulah added its last runs of the game as Duck hit a single into center field to score Morgan and Dubose with two outs. 

The Lady Bulldogs had one last rally in them before the curtains closed as Randolph County scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning. Maci Wingo then forced two ground balls in a row to give Beulah the win. 

Duck led the way for the Bobcats on Tuesday as she went 2-for-2 with five RBIs. Buchanan went 2-for-3 in the game with two runs and a walk.
Morgan provided the power for Beulah early in the game and finished 1-for-1 with two RBIs and a run. Dubose finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a walk. 

Madyson Snedigar got the start for the Lady Bobcats and pitched well in four innings on the mound. Snedigar allowed three hits, three earned runs and four walks. 

Wingo relieved Snedigar in the fifth inning and was steady for the rest of the game. Wingo allowed three hits, three walks and one earned run. 

The Lady Bobcats are back at .500 with the win on Tuesday. Beulah sits at 2-2 on the season with a matchup on the road against Horseshoe Bend on Thursday.
