The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce worked with the cartographic and marketing firm Town Square Publications to put together an updated Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Community Map. 

It will be the only official map of the Greater Valley Area distributed and endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce. 

According to the GVACC press release, the map will offer accurate information for the entire county and each city in the Greater Valley Area for tourists and potential commercial relocation opportunities. 

GVACC Director Carrie Wood said the maps have been very popular at the Lanett Welcome Center and the city halls with residents. She said the new maps will be distributed to the welcome center, each city hall and will be available at the Chamber. 

“We just want to tell all of our sponsors, thank you,” Wood said. “We appreciate their support. And I know our community appreciates that as well so that we’re able to keep that alive and keep that going.”

Existing businesses will also have the opportunity to advertise in the map. According to the press release, the Resource Guide section will classify participating businesses by categories with a brief description of what they offer.
