The sixth annual Beulah Day will be held this Saturday. The Friends of Beulah Community is the group that organizes the event. It will be held at Beulah Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT.
According to Roger Keel, a member of the FBC, the event will include a car show, inflatable bounce houses for the kids, games and food vendors. Keel said there will be food ranging from Mr. Frosty’s Ice Cream truck, hot dogs and Mexican food.
There will be a corn hole, free throw and putt-putt golf tournament for all ages. Trophies and prizes can be won as well.
Beulah High School will provide the entertainment for the day. The high school’s band will perform at noon, followed by the cheerleading team.
FBC was formed in an effort to beautify the Beulah community. The group has done projects over the years including planting flowers, posting a community bulletin and donating money to Beulah schools and organizations.
Beulah Day is funded by sponsorships from local businesses along with some community donors.
