Wildcat Workday sponsored by Springwood School will be on Friday, April 26.  Students will be transported to their work sites by 8:30.

According to a press release, they usually work until 11:30 am and then meet for lunch afterward to celebrate. Students have a half day at school, so they are done for the day after lunch.

All students in 7 to 12 grades as well as faculty will be participating in various service projects throughout the area.

Springwood received a grant to help defray expenses for painting the pool at Sykes Recreation Center, cleaning and sprucing at the athletic hall in Lanett, picking up trash around the city, working at Humane Society and planting plants around the city as well.  The playground will also be part of the cleanup process.

The Lanett Restoration committee has been working with Michael Plank at Springwood.
