Lanett reports
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett over the July 4th holiday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
› Alicia Spearman, 25, of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with possession of a forged instrument, second degree;
› William Todd, 57, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic, possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, second degree and attempting to elude;
› Cameron Trammell, 22, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.
In incidents that were reported over the holiday period, Lanett police are investigating reports of theft of property, first degree, on the 400 block of North Gilmer Avenue; theft of property, first degree, on the 500 block of South 16th Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, on the 1300 block of South Gilmer Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, and criminal trespassing, first degree, on the 1400 block of South 4th Avenue and domestic violence, third degree, on East 22nd Street.
Sheriff’s office reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County over the July 4th holiday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
› Melvin Bandy Jr., 35, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with theft of property, second degree, and
› Harris Briskey, 58, of Lanett has been charged on a grand jury indictment for leaving the scene of an accident with an injury.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the July 4th holiday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
› Anthony DeLee, 25, of Valley has been charged with failure to pay – traffic, and
› Cameron Tremaine Trammell, 22, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.
In incidents that were reported to the Valley Police Department over the July 4th holiday, officers are investigating reports of assault, third degree, taking place on the 1800 block of 26th Street, criminal trespassing, third degree, taking place on the 300 block of Highway 29, domestic violence, third degree, on the 7000 block of School Street, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, on the 400 block of Fairwood Drive, a suspicious event was reported on the 100 block of East Sears Street and theft by deception reported on the 3200 block of 20th Avenue.
