Mary “Penny” Batchelor

Mary “Penny” Batchelor, 69, of Panama City passed away Thursday,   July  6, 2023.

Penny has been a resident of Panama City for 20 years and was a member of Hiland park Baptist Church.  Penny was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked the last 17 years at Guardian of Adlitem in Panama City, enjoyed being outdoors, working in her garden, and was active in animal rescue.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hudmon; sisters, Claire Humphries and Kathy Robertson.

She is survived her husband of 32 years, Royce Batchelor; mother Viola “Vi” Hudmon; children, Courtney Allender and Ashley Alexander (Ryan); brother in law, Robbie Robertson; grandchildren, Kiele Alexander and Jet Blackman; furbabies.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 20,2024 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Brother Fred Hapner officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
