Ms. Rosalind Fuller

VALLEY — Ms. Rosalind Fuller, 71, of the Lake Harding community passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on November 28, 1946 in Langdale, Ala. to the late Lowell E. and Vera T. McCain.

Ms. Fuller is survived by her three children, Rodney (Elizabeth) Fuller, Jr., Dawn Fuller, and Laura (Chris) Whitley; her six grandchildren, Elise Fuller, Daniel Fuller, Kalee Whitley, Colton Whitley, Grant Whitley, and Landon Whitley.

Ms. Fuller was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church.  She had an undergraduate degree from Columbus College and a Master’s degree from Auburn University, both in Early Childhood Education.  She was a school teacher at Huguley Elementary School and Langdale Elementary School and later became the principal of Fairfax Elementary School.  She later served in an administrative position in the Lee County School System.  She enjoyed playing the piano and the organ. For a number of years she played them at the First Baptist Church of Shawmut and at Langdale United Methodist Church.  She was an avid Auburn football fan.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 3 p.m. EDT at the Langdale United Methodist Church with the Reverends Rusty Tate and James Haskins officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. EDT  until the service hour at the church.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Ms. Fuller to the Langdale United Methodist Church or to CurePSP at https://www.psp.org/iwanttohelp/ways-to-give.
