New festival comes to Lanett

The Valley Local Inc, a local non-profit organization that works to bring small businesses to local consumers, will be hosting the Festival on the Square in Lanett on Sept. 8 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. ET.

According to its page, Valley Local’s mission is to bridge the gap between small businesses and local consumers while building a pillar our community can rely on.

The festival, in partnership with the city of Lanett, will be held on three different days: Sept. 8, Oct. 13 and Nov. 10. There will be food trucks, vendors inflatables, a photo booth, cornhole and bingo.

The Valley Local is run by many locals, including Sara Crutchfield, a local entrepreneur in the greater Valley area. 

The vendors that will be setting up are Winnie’s L3MMIES, Bows & Britches Children’s Boutique, Charmingly Southern Gifts, Ohana Made Lemonade, Charmingly Southern Gifts, Tha Curry Man, Dauro’s Kitchen, Artwork for God’s Work.
