Week 2 of football did not disappoint.
The Rams played their first home game of the season, crushing Smith Station 39-9. They record evens out to 1-1.
The Bulldogs are officially hot. After going 1-8 last season, LaFayette has beaten that record, with only two games played. The now-undefeated Bulldogs had a lot to bark about as they beat Central Haynesville 41-14.
What is billed as a new local rivalry saw the Lee County side come out on top. Beulah beat Lanett at home 38-21. Beulah now also becomes a 2-0 team, while the Panthers will have to be 1-1 until next Friday.
A longer Springwood story is below, as the Wildcats ran up the score 58-28 against Lighthouse HomeSchool.
Chambers Academy is back on top. After the defending state champions fell in their first game, all eyes were on the Rebels. They delivered against Fort Dale on Friday winning 35-7.
