“Judith Daniel Brendle, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at home on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on Thursday, May 28, 1952, in Langdale, Alabama, to the late Benjamin Daniel Sr. and the late Jewell Hancock.
Judith loved the Lord, her family, and all animals, especially her cat Stripes and granddog Uma. She was an avid sports fan, but her favorite was college football. She graduated from Georgia College in 1974. Judith was a member of the Methodist Church in West Point, GA. She was a retired office manager for Crane Nuclear in Kennesaw, GA.
Judith is survived by her son, Lewis Brendle (Heather); brother, Benjamin Daniel, Jr. (Kathy); and good friends, Dawn Callaway, Theresa Serritt, and Deborah Sellors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aunts Ilene Hancock and Vicie Holsombeck, and cousin Donnie Holsombeck.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home- Hammond on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 9:00 am until 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Hammond and Ponchatoula.”
