Troup County Emergency Management in partnership with the City of LaGrange, Troup County, City of West Point, City of Hogansville, and United Way of West Georgia will be conducting a donations drive for Hurricane Relief on October 11 th. The donations drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Western Heights Baptist Church (2382 West Point Road).

The primary needs for these communities are baby wipes, non-perishable food, bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels, and diapers. Clothing items will not collected at this time. These items will be distributed to communities in South Georgia that are in need as they are just beginning the recovery phase.

“We have been blessed to have the support of other communities during our time of disaster locally and I am proud of all our partners coming together to support these communities affected by Hurricane Helene in any way we can” said EMA Director Zac Steele.
