The Terri Kelley Group got a second warm welcome on a chilly morning this week as the real estate agency moved into an office off 20th Avenue. The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the grand re-opening of the business on Wednesday morning.
“What better place to be,” Kelley said.
Kelley, who has been based in Chambers County for three years, decided to move house to gain more visibility. In her time in the county, Kelley has helped sell over 200 houses and is partnered with Crown Homes as well as others.
“The community is growing,” said Valley Mayor Leonard Riley. “The Terri Kelley Group has been here for three or four years, and they’ve been selling a lot of houses.”
Riley said that the city of Valley has seen a lot of new housing developments with four new subdivisions, most of which Kelley has been involved with. Several developers have come to the city including the upcoming Chick-fil-A and a $35 million housing development.
According to Kelley, the subdivision will have about 125 homes for purchase.
“It’s an exciting time for Valley,” Riley said.
After 11 years as a real estate agent, Kelley said she sees big things on the horizon for Chambers County.
“I see Chambers County as being the hub we’re the first two stops as you come across the border,” Kelley said, “And as much as LaGrange is growing, as much as Opelika is growing, we have to be that place. So I’m excited for all the development.”
