Sheriff’s office reports
LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
› Martel Johnson, 31, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with failure to pay – child support;
› Hector Navejar, 29, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of speeding;
› Kevin Warren, 31, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license and
› Dylan Beck, 26, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
There were 159 inmates in the Chambers County jail Tuesday morning.
Lanett reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
› Mary Susanne Ray, 49, of Lanett has been charged with obstructing a government operation;
› Jeremy Nitel Moody, 30, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
› Casey Lamar Roberts, 26, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and
› Martel Lakeith Johnson, 31 of West Point has been charged with FTA – traffic.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1200 block of South 6th Street, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of South 2nd Avenue, the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on the 800 block of North 12th Avenue, breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South 8th Avenue, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 700 block of North Lanier Avenue and duty to give information and render aid was reported on the 200 block of South 8th Street.
LaFayette reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in LaFayette on Monday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,
› Micaiah Billingslea, 24, has been charged with making a false report to law enforcement,
› Dennis Asberry, 30, has been charged with harassment, and
› Derrick O’Neal Burton, 32, has been charged with harassment and possession of a pistol by a violent felon.
In incidents that were reported on Monday, LaFayette police are investigating reports of harassment on Alabama Avenue East, making a false report to law enforcement, theft of property, first degree, on County Road 32, and harassment on LaFayette Street North.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating an incident of someone making terroristic threats on East 14th Street.
