MR. WALTER BROCK

WEST POINT — Mr. Walter L. “Brock” Brock, 73, of West Point passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his residence. The son of the late Savannah Evans, Mr. Brock was born on January 7,1944 in Chambers County, Ala.
“Brock,” as he was known to many, received his education in the West Point Public School System. He was a former employee of Peabody Manufacturing.
Mr. Brock enjoyed spending time with his family. He and his sister, Ethel Mae Spence, were inseparable. Ms. Spence passed away hours after learning of Walter’s death.
Walter was preceded in death by siblings, Minnie Borden, Louise McQueen and Otis Brock.
Mr. Brock leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, Rachelle (Willie) Brooks and Heather Winston, both of West Point; grandchildren Tamiya R. Brooks, West Point, Shamiya M. Brooks, Houston, Texas, and Jae’lynn Winston, West Point; a great grandchild, Londyn Castillo, sister-in-law, Eva Brocks, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, and a special friend, Jack Barnes of West Point.
Funeral services for Mr. Brock will be held on Sunday, January 7 2018, 2 p.m. EST in the Chapel of the M.W. Lee Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Marseilles Cemetery. To express online condolences, please visit our website at www.mwleemortuary.com.
