Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday. According to police reports,

Cameron Johnson, 27, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to appear in court (FTA) to answer a charge of the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Mellisa Lavalley, 41, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license;

Robert Threadgill, 36, of an unknown address, has been charged with making terroristic threats,

There were 144 inmates in the Chambers County jail this morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to police reports,

Maurice Calvert Clark, 39, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

Sheree Shantae Winston, 28, of Lanett has been charged with  possession of a controlled substance.

Lanett police are investigating a report of domestic violence that allegedly took place Thursday on the 600 block of South 5th Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to police reports,

Jeremy Wesley Burnette, 38, of Washington  has been charged with public intoxication.

Jana Godfrey, 32, of West Point has been charged wiht bail jumping, second degree.

Valley police officers are investigating reports of criminal mischief, second degree, on the 300 block of Summerhill Road, theft of property, first, on the 4000 block of Columbus Road and robbery, third, and theft of property, fourth, on the 2900 block of 20th Avenue.
