Schools in Chambers County cancel school for Tuesday due to Winter Weather Advisory.

The Chambers County School District and Lanett City Schools, have canceled school Tuesday, according to the district’s Facebook page.
Chambers Academy in LaFayette told the Valley Times-News it will be closing Tuesday and will monitor the situation heading into Wednesday. Springwood Schools said it will be open tomorrow.
“Since Chambers County has been added to the Winter Weather Advisory issued by the NWS, we will close schools tomorrow,” the post of Chambers County School District’s Facebook page said. “We will make a call about Wednesday by 2:00 central/3:00 eastern tomorrow afternoon. This is for Chambers County and Lanett City Schools.”
